A charity single by Steve Paul and 100 singers.
Featuring Nizlopi, Pete Roe, Lee Nelson, Sam Sallon and Brit Award nominees Daisy Chute and Beth Rowley.
With our world in such a chaotic state, many people just want to know:
"Is Everything Going To Be OK?"
The epic 100 Voices Project, which took 7 years to produce, brings together 100 singers to record an atmospheric, alternative, trance, dream pop, world, choral song, building from one voice, then adding layer upon layer of voices, for the song's 100 voiced climax. Steve wrote the instrumental in 2009 then started gathering singers at open mics, Nizlopi’s songwriting weekend, Pete Roe’s gig in Steve’s lounge. Some singers were recorded at a special needs school Steve worked at. He invited singers to his home studio and met them on the road. Some singers recorded in their own studios and sent him the vocals, others used the online collaborative music platform, OhmStudio.
Steve Paul is the producer behind the 100 Voices Project. He is a singer-songwriter, producer, remixer and multi-instrumentalist based in London. He has released a charity compilation, Help Japan Music, and featured on the 11Eleven Project documentary soundtrack. He is currently working on his debut solo album.
The song is raising money for 5 charities close to the heart of Steve and the singers:
Choir With No Name, Macmillan Cancer Support, Norwood, Tzedek, World Jewish Relief.
